2025 STEAM EXPO

PROJECT SUMMARY

I worked on desighing a pen and pencil holder on fusion 360. Fusion 360 is a program used for 3d modeling.

WHY?

I has traying to fix the disorder of my desk by using this to organize. The problem is that my pencils are all over my room and then I lose them but this will help me keep them ina a place.

HOW?

The first step was look at some tutorials to learn 3d modeling in Fusion 360. Then I stared by creating 1 big box in the floor and then another box on top of it that was a little smaller to cut the hole in the inside. The last step was to put some decoration on it.

WHAT?

I can see it works because it has a hole inside to put pencils and pens and I also checked the measurements

SO WHAT?

The results show that it is not hard to create simple 3d models. It also shows that you can make a lot of useful things with 3d modeling.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Something taht could make it better would be actually printing it but my 3d printer dose not work. Some new things I could try is making a bigger one for lots of things like note books or erasers.

Great to see Fusion as a 3D modeling tool in this Expo. Your pencil holder looks both durable and functional. I wonder how you could then take your 3D model and bring it to life with a physical version. Make for the next Expo?
