I worked on an art project that we needed to do a Collage inspired by the Paralympic Games. And we needed to pick a picture and make a collage inspired by it. So one of my favorite sports is basketball, so I researched a photo of someone playing basketball in the Paralympics. And I found one of a woman playing basketball in a wheelchair which I used it for a design.
So we needed to make a collage inspired in the paralympic games which was a project for art class.
So I first looked for a picture, found the correct one and later sketched the scene. Later I added the paper cuts from newspapers and magazines and pasted them in her body, wheelchair, and ball, and for the background, I cut larger papers for the background.
So this is an art project, so I didn't test anything. But I tried putting the collage papers inside of the character, instead of surrounding it. Which may have been an extra challenge.
So I learned with the project more about Paralympic games and I learned how to make a deep collage. What you can understand from my project are about Paralympic games and understand that people with disabilities also have competitions like the Olympics, this visual representation can help with inclusivity .
Maybe next time I can add more than 1 player (physical figure) to my project, or collage the background as well.
So F and D helped me a lot with my art project and I'm really glad and thankful that they helped me. I also used google to help me research pictures. We also used some videos for this in class.
The detail you applied to your work to create the image of the person with small paper cuts stands out, and the color tones give it an artistic touch. Congratulations on this great work!
