PROJECT SUMMARY
We aimed to represent an important figure of scientific thought and human curiosity through embroidery. We focused on creating an image that conveys an inspiring quote from Albert Einstein in an artistic way.

WHY?
We did this project because we wanted to try embroidery as an art form and share an important message. The phrase “The important thing is not to stop questioning” helps show why curiosity and asking questions matter.
HOW?
HOW?
First, we found a recognizable image of Albert Einstein and vectorized it, making sure it had the best possible quality for embroidery. Then, we used an embroidery machine to stitch both the portrait and the quote onto the fabric. We kept the fabric stretched to ensure the stitching was neat and precise.
WHAT?
WHAT?
We found that embroidery can be a powerful form of artistic expression, even for representing complex figures like a face. The design works visually because it combines art with a reflective message that draws attention.

Our results show that it’s possible to communicate important ideas, such as scientific curiosity, through textile art. We learned that with patience and planning, embroidery can become a creative tool to convey deep thoughts.

We could try adding color to make the design more eye-catching or work on other inspiring historical figures. We’d also like to explore more advanced embroidery techniques and improve detail accuracy in faces.
