The first-grade students created creative pencil holders using recycled cardboard toilet paper rolls. This activity promoted environmental awareness, fine motor skills, and imagination by transforming everyday materials into personalized school supplies.
This project was selected among several proposals due to the great interest and curiosity it sparked.
Each student brought the requested materials, along with decorative elements chosen according to their imagination. With the help of the teachers, the main parts were assembled, and then each child personalized their creation with a unique touch.
It was a complete success: each child was able to build and decorate their own personalized pencil holder.
This type of project helps fostering creativity and recycling.
The students were inspired and imagined other possibilities for new projects using different or similar materials, always in a creative and eco-friendly way.
Project carried out under the supervision of Prof. José Ocampos and Prof. Leticia Gonzalez.
Great project! First graders have such an imagination. I was really impressed by the cat and how they connected several together to make the body. I'm curious about what inspired each one of them.
