The first-grade students created fun characters using recycled cardboard tubes. The activity stimulated imagination, hands-on work, and environmental awareness through play and material reuse. ♻️🎨👦👧
This project was chosen among several ideas due to the enthusiasm and curiosity it sparked in the students.
The students brought the required materials as well as decorative elements they chose based on their creativity. With the guidance of the teachers, they built the basic structure and then each one decorated it in their own way, adding a personal touch.
The results were fantastic: each student worked independently, choosing and placing the materials they liked the most. The outcome was a display full of creativity and originality.
The project demonstrates the students’ ability to work independently while expressing their creativity and personal style.
Encouraging students to create a series of characters or objects using different recycled materials, exploring new themes and stories with each character.
Project carried out under the supervision of Prof. José Ocampos and Prof. Leticia Gonzalez.
Creative project! Wonderful way to reuse materials that might have ended up in the trash. Instead, first graders created beautiful scupltures. I like your next steps as well. Now that they have experience working with these materials, the sky is the limit!
