Nebula focuses on addressing the limited access to high-quality science education in low-income and underserved communities.
The project investigates how Astrophysics and other exact sciences can be made more accessible and engaging for students. It promotes learning through both online and in-person experiences to expand educational opportunities.
Nebula is a social project prototype and digital tool (website) focused on online learning, in-person activities, and research programs. It proposes workshops, science clubs, and boot camps in both formats, plus a free educational website and volunteer programs to support community engagement. Overall, it aims to improve access to science education in underserved communities.
The project hasn’t been tested yet since it’s still a prototype. It’s an idea meant to be applied in different local communities to improve access to science education. It combines online learning, in-person activities, and a free educational website. Its impact would be checked once it’s actually implemented.
This idea is currently a prototype and has not been tested yet. It is planned as a model that could help increase students’ interest in science through more interactive and accessible learning. During the development of the design in Canva, we learned how to organize information in a clear and visual way. It helped us understand how design choices like layout, colors, and structure can make ideas easier to communicate. We also saw how a digital prototype can represent a project even without being fully functional.
The project could be improved by developing a more interactive and functional version of the website instead of only a prototype. Next time, we could also test it in real communities to get feedback and make adjustments based on users’ needs. Another improvement would be adding more advanced content and interactive tools to make learning more engaging. We could also try collaborating with schools or universities to expand its impact.
